Hi. I’m Brent. I’m an online health & fitness coach. I help people with:

Here’s what you get as a coaching client:

Diet

Whether you want a structured meal plan, help with tracking food, or just a few tips, meal ideas, and guidance, I can help you achieve your goals. Whether you want to lose fat, gain muscle, or just eat healthier and improve your energy levels, we can get you there. Options include:

  • Simple diet tweaks

  • Meal ideas

  • Full meal plans

  • Tracking food with myfitnesspal

  • Eating for fat loss

  • Eating for muscle gain

  • Help with dietary habits, emotional eating, binge eating

  • Vitamin and supplement help

  • Eating for health, vitality, improved sleep and cognitive function

Training

My expertise is in strength training, but I’m also an experienced runner and cyclist. I’ll get you setup with a custom training plan, whether that involves weights, cardio, or just daily walks. I’ll tell you exactly what exercises to do (if you have access to a gym- great! If not, at-home workouts are great too). I’ll also link you to Youtube videos showing you exactly how to do each exercise.

Accountability

Weekly check-in call (15-30 minutes): We’ll talk about how you’re doing mentally and physically, what went well this week, what could be improved, and discuss any changes to be made to our gameplan.

Tracking

Some people like to track their progress meticulously. Others don’t. If you’re up for tracking, I’ll have you do one or more of the following. If you don’t like tracking, we won’t do it.

  • Track workouts using the free Hevy app- this allows you to track your progress and lets me see your workouts.

  • Track food with myfitnesspal- some people track everything, some track just protein, others don’t track at all. We’ll decide what’s best for you.

  • Track bodyweight with myfitnesspal- optional, but useful

  • Weekly progress pics with myfitnesspal- again optional, but useful

Support

As a coaching client, you’ll have unlimited text message access to me- text me whenever you have a question, concern, or just want to celebrate a win.

Time Commitment

How much time will this take per week?

This depends on what you want and how much you can realistically do. With some clients, we start with simple, daily actions that we track using the free “habit” app. A few examples:

  • Eat an apple with breakfast

  • Daily 10-15 minute walk

  • Eat some protein with every meal

Those who would like to commit to more often do any number of the following:

  • Strength training (for beginners, generally 2x/week, 30-45 minutes per session. For intermediate or advanced trainees this can be anywhere from 3-6 sessions per week)

  • Food tracking- takes about 5 minutes/day

  • Cardio/other exercise- 10 minutes or more per day

  • Weekly check-in/coaching call- 15-30 minutes

So how much time? That’s up to you.
